How to Withdraw Money from Airtm to a US Bank Account: A Guide for American users

At Airtm, we are always striving to make things simpler for our users. For our partners who pay their users in the United States through our platform, we offer streamlined solutions for withdrawing funds.
Currently, there are two primary options for withdrawing money to your US bank account: using Moonpay or withdrawing USDC to Coinbase.
This guide will help you understand these options and provide step-by-step instructions for each method.
Withdrawing Money Using Moonpay
Moonpay allows you to convert your Airtm balance into dollars and withdraw them directly to your US bank account. However, some states, such as Texas and New York, cannot process withdrawals through Moonpay. Here’s how to withdraw using Moonpay:
- Log in to your Airtm account.
- Navigate to the “Withdraw Funds” section.
- Select “United States Bank”.
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
- Follow the process in Moonpay and enter your bank account details.
- Confirm creating the transaction in Moonpay
Once the transaction is complete, your funds will be transferred to your US bank account.
Withdrawing Money Using USDC and Coinbase

- Log in to your Airtm account.
- Navigate to the “Withdraw Funds” section.
- Select “Stellar USDC”.
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.
- Configure your USDC Stellar address and memo associated with your Coinbase.com account Please confirm you are using the Stellar Network.
- Set this as your payment method.
- Confirm creating the withdraw transaction.
Once the funds are received in your Coinbase.com account:
Log in to your Coinbase.com account and withdraw your USDC received as USD to your US bank account by entering your bank details and confirming the transaction.
