Airtm does not charge any maintenance fees for the US Virtual Account. This means you can keep your account active without worrying about additional monthly or annual charges. You only incur fees based on your transactions, such as the fixed and variable fees previously mentioned.
The US Virtual Account is a feature available for receiving local payments in the USA exclusively through the ACH network. Note that if you want to send funds from your PayPal account, you can only do so if your PayPal account is registered in the United States. During the BETA stage, only payments from bank accounts owned by you or your registered employer will be accepted.
All platforms with US accounts can be used to transfer funds. The most common examples are: Deel - Payoneer - Ontop - Airbnb - Workana - Upwork - Wise Important: Currently, payments from non-US PayPal accounts are not accepted. Transfers from PayPal to the US Virtual Account may result in the loss of funds.
Normally, bank transfers to your US Virtual Account will be reflected in your Airtm account within 3 to 5 business days. Remember that these transfers will appear in your activity summary as âFondeo Stellar Directoâ.
